Abstract: Fungal flora was studied, which is associated with survival of sclerotia of Sclerotinia sclerotiorum in the rapeseed soils, by burrying the sclerotia in the soil samples as baits. 117 st rains of mycoparasites of sclerotia were isolated from the soils sampling from rapeseed fields in Neijiang, Jianyang and Yaan of Sichuan Province. The mycoparasites belong to the following 10 genera:Aspergillus spp., Alternaria spp., Coniothyrium minitans, Fusarium spp., Gliocladium spp., Mucor spp., Penicillium spp., Rhizopus spp., Trichoderma spp. and Verticillium spp.. Among them, Fusarium spp. and Trichoderma spp. were dominant as they were 51.4 and 30.0 per cent respectively int the total mycoparasites. From the surface of sclerotia, 12 genera of fungi were isolated; Fusarium spp., Trichoderma spp.and Rhizopus spp. were mo st abundant of the fungal flora, having 18.5, 48.0 and 14.3 per cent respectively. The fungi, including the mycoparasites and fungal strains on sclerotial surface, differed in the rape soils of the different districts. However, Fusarium spp. and Trichoderma spp.were dominant in the sclerotial parasites of the districts mentioned above. Therefore, their effects on the survival and carpogenic germination of sclerotia need further study. In this paper, the effects o f different media on the isolation of fungi from the sclerotia were also discussed.
