CIMMYT群体和我国地方群体的配合力与聚类分析

Study on Combining Ability and Clustering Analysis between the Maize Populations of CIMMYT and Local China

摘要: 以掖478、Mo17、黄早四和丹340为共同测验种,采用NCⅡ遗传设计,对13个我国北方玉米群体和14个引进并改良的CIMMYT优良群体(共27个群体)的配合力效应(GCA和SCA)和遗传差异进行了系统评价。结果表明,CIMMYT群体的GCA效应显著高于我国北方玉米群体;另外,GCA和SCA之间无必然联系,这就意味着优良组合的亲本选择应在GCA选择的基础上还必须注重组合SCA的选择。经遗传距离统计与聚类分析,Pob28等5个CIMMYT群体和我国北方大部分群体被归为一类,而且,聚类与GCA效应之间有一定的相关性,这进一步说明聚类结果在很大程度上反映的是亲本材料间的遗传差异,而不是亲缘关系和地理来源的远近。

Abstract: The North Carolina Ⅱ(NC Ⅱ) mating design was used to evaluate the combining ability and genetic divergence, in which 27 maize populations including 13 from the local China and 14 from CIMMYT were used as tested population and inbred lines Ye478, Mo17, HuangZaoSi and Dan340 as the common testers. The results show that the GCA of the CIMMYT populations are significantly higher than that of the maize populations from local China. But there is no significant relation between GCA and SCA. So, the more great attention should be paid to SCA of the combination in maize hybrid breeding. Clustering analysis based on a few traits shows that there is significant correlation between the results of clustering analysis and GCA. This means that the clustering analysis can reflect genetic divergence within parental material but not the distance of pedigree or geographical origination of maize populations in great degree.
