模拟增温对青藏高原东缘林线交错带高山柳构型和叶形态的影响

Effects of Experimental Warming on Architectures and Leaf Morphologies of Salix eriostachya in A Timberline Ecotone on the Eastern Tibetan Plateau

摘要: [目的] 了解川西高山林线典型物种对全球气候变化的响应。[方法] 采用开顶式生长室(Open-top chamber,OTC)模拟增温对植被影响,研究了川西亚高山林线交错带高山柳构型、叶形态对模拟增温的短期响应。[结果] 结果表明,生长季中OTC内日平均气温较对照(CK)增加2.9℃;增温能显著增加高山柳上层的枝倾角和叶倾角,增温也显著增加单叶面积、比叶面积和叶片长宽比,但却显著降低了叶片非稳态不对称指数。[结论] 林线交错带高山柳构型和叶片形态对气候变化有着极强的可塑性,且这种形态学的变化可能有利于该物种适应未来的全球气候变化。

Abstract: [Objective] The aim of the study was to explore the short-term responses of timberline species within western Sichuan to global warming. [Method] Short-term responses of architectures and leaf morphologies of Salix eriostachya in sub-alpine timberline ecotone, Western Sichuan to simulated warming were studied by the open-top chamber(OTC). [Results] Warming significantly increased the branch angle and leaf angle of S. eriostachya. Likewise, warmer conditions clearly changed leaf morphologies of S. eriostachya. Whereas, OTC had a significant negative effect on leaf fluctuating asymmetry(FA). [Conclusion] Taken together, our results indicate that S. eriostachya in timberline ecotone showed strong plasticity to in situ experimental warming.
