Abstract:

【Objective】The purpose of this study is to analyze the influencing factors of intensive use on construction land in China, which intends to provide references for increasing the level of intensive use on construction land.【Method】GLS model based on provincial-level panel data.【Results】Land resource endowments and intensive use of construction land were negatively correlated. Scientific and technological progress, economic development and construction land use policies correlated positively with intensive use of construction land. Specifically, the reform of land market and economic institution greatly improved the degree of intensive use on construction land; The government’s land use policies on plot ratio had positive influence on the intensive use of construction land to a certain extent. About the factors of local government, the competition among local governments on attracting overseas investment and the incompletely supervised land market had a bad effect on the intensive use of construction land.【Conclusion】To regulate the behavior of local governments, promote the reform of land market, and strengthen the control of land use policy are helpful to improve the degree of the construction land intensive use.
