Abstract: The performances and compounding effects in crossbreeding of the paternal line(S) and the maternal line(K) were measured using the newstrain(SK) preliminarily compounded with two layer lines. The productivity difference between the first filial-generation and the maintraits were analyzed. The results indicate that the compounded strain has the properties and claracteristics of modern poultry lines. The performance of the lines and the desired target of this study have been already reached or over-reacted. The genetic difference between the parent strains is significant. The egg-laying performance of the commercial flock is extremely significantly higher than that of the parent generation. The analysis of gene effect indicates that there are significant or extremely significant additive and dominant effects in egg-laying performance and obvious hybrid vigor in the compounding of two strains.
