Abstract: [Objective] To provide useful advice for the development of China's sugar industry through analyzing the influencing factors of the American sugar price.[Method] There are three main factors that affect the American domestic sugar price:the domestic production and marketing situation,domestic policy and other influencing factors.21indexes of the three main factors are analyzed by multiple linear regression using the software Matlab.[Results] The results showed the main factors that influence the American sugar prices are price of sugar cane in Louisiana,the stocks of sugar in January and price support.[Conclusion] The American sugar prices are affected by market factors as well as the United States government regulation.
