Abstract: [Objective] Analysis the supply of rural public goods efficiency of Chongqing,find influence factors of low efficiency and then provide indicate proposals for Chongqing and the west areas.[Method] Using DEA-Tobit method to analysis the efficiency of the supply of rural public products and its influence factor in Chongqing.[Results] The supply efficiency of rural public goods in Chongqing is low and there are different reasons for its obviously regional differences.Supply efficiency was positively related to the proportion of the first industry and the famers,income,but not positively related to the highway density and the urbanization rate.[Conclusion] Increasing people's incomes is helpful for the total supply efficiency in Chongqing;improving the management of rural public goods is the way to increase the supply efficiency in main city zone while the Three Gorges Reservoir area should expand the scale of supply.
