Effects of Temperature Treatment before Sowing on Drought Resistance of Potato Seedlings

摘要: 【目的】为明确播种前储藏库种薯短期温度处理后对马铃薯苗期耐旱性以及产量的影响。【方法】采用盆栽试验,播种前不同温度(5 ℃、20 ℃、35 ℃)处理马铃薯种薯,出苗后使用不同浓度PEG-6000(0、10%、20%和30%)溶液模拟干旱胁迫,探讨不同程度干旱胁迫温度下处理对马铃薯苗期生长发育及产量的影响。【结果】①干旱胁迫对马铃薯茎粗、株高、整株干物质抑制作用明显,马铃薯叶片抗逆性酶活性随着干旱胁迫程度的不断增加而不断升高,MDA含量、细胞膜透性和可溶性糖含量较对照分别升高,产量下降。②播种前20 ℃处理,缓解了干旱胁迫对马铃薯茎粗、株高和整株干物质不利影响,降低SOD、POD活性,抑制了MDA含量的增加,细胞膜透性下降,使可溶性糖含量增加。③20 ℃处理后缓解了干旱胁迫对产量产生的不利影响,产量显著高于其他温度下各水分处理。【结论】播种前对储藏库的种薯20 ℃预热处理可以缓解苗期干旱胁迫对马铃薯产生的不利影响,增强其苗期耐旱性,达到提高后期产量的目的。

Abstract: 【Objective】 To explore the effects of different drought stress treatments on the growth and development of potato seedlings and their yields. 【Method】 A pot experiment was conducted to determine the effects of short-term temperature treatment of seed potatoes on drought tolerance and yield of potato seedling stage before sowing. Seed potatoes were treated at different temperatures (5 ℃, 20 ℃, 35 ℃) before sowing, and different concentrations of PEG-6000 (0, 10%, 20%, 30%) solution were used to simulate drought stress after emergence. 【Result】 The results showed that drought stress significantly inhibited stem diameter, plant height and whole plant dry matter of potato. Moreover, the activities of stress-resistant enzymes in potato leaves increased with the increasing degree of drought stress, and the MDA content, cell membrane permeability and soluble sugar content increased, while potato production continues to decline. Compared with other temperature treatments, the effect of drought stress on potato stem diameter, plant height and whole plant dry matter were reduced at 20 ℃. Additionally, SOD activity, POD activity, MDA content and cell membrane permeability decreased, while soluble sugar content increased. The adverse effects of drought stress on yield were alleviated after treatment at 20 ℃, and the yield was significantly higher than that of other water treatments at other temperatures. 【Conclusion】 Therefore, 20 ℃ treatment before sowing can alleviate the adverse effects of drought stress, enhance the drought tolerance on potato in seedling stage, and achieve the purpose of increasing yield in the later stage.
