Abstract: With the development of informatization, the founding of information system engineering that is the sign of information construction has entered into every department and every industry. Along with the beginning of work of land classification and evaluation in China, urban land classification and evaluation information system(ULCEIS) that are part of information system also have been founded in the tide of information construction. From these aspects of technology, design of system function, database, interface, the paper analyses the development of ULCEIS in those ten years and points out the development trend of system establishing.
