Abstract: On the basis of extensive data, the authors outline the advances in bayberry of Cina are including resoures and classifications of varieties and cultivors, ecological requirements and distributing zones and benefit, biological characteristics, reproductive methods, productive high——qualitied cultivating technology, kinds and controling methods of diseases and insects, and measurements of storage and transport and processing. Destinations and focuses of the near future are also given.
