Abstract: The control effectivenesses against Panonychus citri and Schizotetranychus sexmaculatus were compared between pesticide mixes Shamanlin A and B emulsifiable concentrate, which were mixed with Nissorum 5% EC and LiuYangmycin 10% EC respectively in the ratio of 1:1 and 1:2. In 3 days of application, the effectiveness of Shamanlin A(EC) 2000× against citurs red mite(Panonychus citri) was 96%, similar to that of LiuYangmycin 10% EC 1500× and slightly better than Nissorum 5% EC×. As for persistence, the effectiveness of Shamanlin(EC)2000× to citrus spider mites were over 85% after 50 days of application, as good as Nissorum 5% 1500×, much better than LiuYangmycin 10%. The cost of application of pesticied mix Shamanlin A(EC) 2000× was very low, only half as much as Nissorum 5% EC. No side effects were found for citrus growth.
