玉米常用自交系主要经济性状遗传距离的研究

摘要: 合理的选配亲本是玉米杂交种具有最大优势的首要条件,而选配亲本经常使用的原则之一是双亲遗传差异大,如何确定其差异,多年来,一些人认为地理远缘是遗传差异的主要标志。因此主张用地理远缘作为选配亲本的条件之一。但据Moll.R.W.et al (1962)(5)及Bhatt,G.M.(1970)(6)等人的研究,发现地理分布和遗传差异并无直接的联系。毛盛贤等(1979)(3)对冬小麦数量性状遗传差异采用多元分析法加以聚类,所得结果也相类似。因此探索衡量遗传差异的可靠方法,然后用以确定育种材料间的遗传差异,在杂种选配上显然就是很有必要的了。
本研究是根据刘来福(1979)(1)介绍的多元分析法定量测定亲本间遗传差异(以遗传距离为度量),再根据遗传距离大小采用系统聚类法中的离差平方和法对各自交系进行分类,并以此与玉米育种实践资料相对照,验证其符合程度及可用性。本文利用此法初探玉米自交系的聚类分析,目的在于进一步扩大试验,探索从理论上和实践上改进育种方法的途径。由于参试自交系中有些属于新选系,生产上尚未应用,因而不能全部以育种实践资料加以验证,留待以后研究。

Abstract: Genetic divergence is a technical guideline in selecting parental line for hybridization in plant breeding. What is the genetic divergence? Generally speaking, the varieties or lines from geographically diverse localities are generally included in hybridization programmes presuming genetic diversity. However, This is an inferential criterion, and it cannot be successfully utilized for discrimination between parents. There are few reports avaiable on this aspect in inbreds of maize. Therefore, in the present investigation attempt was made to ascertain the nature and magnitude of diversity among a set of inbreds of maize by estimating the genetic distance (D2). Experimental results showed that it was in some degree similar to practice of plant breeding. But the inbreds of maize within one class are not very consistent with geographically localities.
