引种种源火炬松木材全干干缩性的研究

STUDY ON SHRINKAGE VARIATION OF OVEN-DRY WOOD OF 31 PROVENANCES FOR EXOTIC LOBLOLLY PINE

摘要: 本文对10年生火炬松种源木材径向、弦向、纵向、体积全干干缩率和差异干缩等5个性状进行了研究,分析了5个性状与树高、胸径、材积、晚材率、气干密度、绝干密度和基本密度间的相关性。结果表明选用晚材率大、木材密度高的优良种源或无性系造林,培育纵向干缩率小、差异干缩小、尺寸稳定性好的优质木材是可行的。

Abstract: Analyses of statistic difference about radial shrinkage,tangential shrinkage (TS), longitudinal shrinkage (LS), volume shrinkage of oven-dry wood and a ratio of tangential to radal shrinkage were made within 31 provenances of 10-year-old exotic loblolly pine.The relationships of five items above with height,diameter at breast height and volume of 310 trees,late wood percentage, wood density at 12% moisture content,density of oven-dry wood and basic density were analysed.The results showed that selecting superior fast provenances or clones with high wood density and high late wood percentage in culturing industrial timber is beneficial to reduce LS and TS of fast grown wood and increase the stablability of fast grown wood.
