EFFECT OF NITROGEN ON THE PHENOTYPES AND GENETIC VARIATIONS OF MAIN QUANTITATIVE CHARACTERS IN sinica RICE

摘要: 选取10个典型的粳稻品种,设置4个氮素水平,用3次重复的裂区设计,研究氮素对粳稻数量性状的表现型和遗传变异的影响。结果表明:氮素对一些重要性状的作用达极显著水平,对其遗传方差、遗传变异系数和广义遗传力有明显影响;不同性状对氮素的表型和遗传响应有差异,同一性状的表型和遗传响应也不完全一致。因此,应存能使遗传信息充分表达的适当氮素水平下对育种材料进行选择或加工。

Abstract: This paper is to deal with the effect of nitrogen on the phenotypic performances and genetic variations of main quantitative characters in sinica rice. Ten typical sinica varieties were chosen and the split-plot design with 4 nitrogen levels and 3 replications were employed. The results indicated that the genotypic variances, genetic variation coefficients and broad-senes heritabilitise of some important charactes were affected severely by nitrogen levels. The effects of nitrogen on the phenotypes of plant height, panicle number/plant. 1000 grain weight, grain yield and biological yield per plant, harvest index and so on were highly significant. There were some differences among the characters in the phenotypic and genetic responses to nitrogen levels, and the phenotypic response was not always correspondent with the genetic response for some characters. It can be concluded that the breeding materials should be subjected to selection at a proper nitrogen level which can cause the genetic informaion to be fully expressed.
