Topsoil Moisture Inversion of Desert Steppe Based on Surface Temperature and Vegetation Index Characteristics Spaces

摘要: [目的] 研究地表温度-植被指数特征空间的荒漠化草原表层土壤含水量反演状况。[方法] 以2014年和2015年的3期MODISL1B数据构建地表温度Ts-植被指数NDVI的特征空间,拟合出特征空间的干、湿边方程,计算温度植被干旱指数(TVDI)。对TVDI与同期野外不同深度的实测土壤含水量数据进行回归分析,建立TVDI估测土壤水分的模型,并对模型进行验证。[结果] TVDI与各层实测土壤含水量数据都有一定程度的相关性,相关系数在0.5以上。TVDI模型对研究区0~10cm、0~20cm、0~30cm深度的土壤含水量反演相对误差均不大,且相对误差随着土壤深度的增加而增大。TVDI模型的土壤含水量遥感反演中,3期0~10cm深度的土壤含水量反演值与实测值的相对误差平均值均在10%左右。[结论] TVDI模型可以更为准确地反映研究区内土壤表层0~10cm深度的含水量空间变异特征及分布状况。

Abstract: [Objective] The aim of the study was to study topsoil moisture inversion condition of desert steppe based on surface temperature and vegetation index characteristics spaces. [Method] Three periods of MODIS L1B data in 2014 and 2015 was used to construct the characteristics spaces of surface temperature Ts-vegetation index NDVI from which temperature vegetation drought index(TVDI) was calculated by the equation of dry and wet line. TVDI carries on regression analysis with synchronization field of the measured soil moisture data of different depth, establishing the model of TVDI estimates soil moisture and to verify this model. [Results] TVDI was correlated with each soil layer moisture of measured data, with the correlation coefficient was above 0.5. Based on TVDI model, relative errors of soil moisture inversion 0-10 cm, 0-20 cm and 0-30 cm depth in the area were small. The relative error increased with increasing soil depth. The average relative error between models and measured values in three periods were approximately 10%. [Conclusion] The model of TVDI can more accurately reflect the spatial variations and distribution of topsoil moisture of 0-10 cm depth.
