成都白鸡育种工作总结报告

摘要: 成都白鸡系应用人工授精,采取白来航和澳洲黑公鸡精液,等量混合后授与成都平原本地母鸡,所得后代经二十余年传统的群选法并经近10年的父系家系育种法育成的具有三个优秀系和一个慢羽系与一个快羽系组成的兼用型新品种。#br#成都白鸡全身羽毛白色,单冠,耳叶红色带有白斑,喙、胫黄色。体形浑园,胸肌丰满。六月龄平均体重,公鸡2500克,母鸡2000克。产蛋量年平均170-180个,最高年产平均190.3个,优秀个体270个以上。蛋重56克左右,蛋壳褐色。#br#成都白鸡慢羽系母鸡与快羽系公鸡交配或与白来航杂交,可生产羽速自别雌雄雏鸡。试验表明:准确率达99.13%,可以应用于生产实践上。#br#成都白鸡育种工作,采用混合精液人工授精,获得多品种性状的基础群。这一方法,似有价值应用于培育合成新品系。

Abstract: The White Chengdu chicken is a new dual-purpose breed including three leading lines from sire-family breeding lines of slowfeathering and fast-feathe-ring. These chickenes were produced were by using a semen mixture from White Leghorn and Austaralorp males and artificially inseminating to the local hens in Chengdu basin. The whole program consisted of 20 years of traditional mass selection and 10 years of sire-family breeding.#br#The chickens are characterized by white plumage, single comb, red ear-lobes with white spots, yellow beak and shanks. It has an oval-shaped body and a full breast. The average body weight of the male at six months of age is 2500 grams, and the female, 2000 grams. Annual egg production averages 170-180 eggs, the heighest being 190 3 eggs, and the leading individual laying over 270 eggs. It has an average of egg weight about 56 grams and the egg shell is light brown.#br#The slow-feathering line of the White Chengdu Chickens may be used as a dam line to cross with the males of fast-feathering line or White Leghorn to produce feathering auto-sexing chicks. In the experiment, the accuracy rate of auto-sexing was up to 99.13%. This cau be used in the practical poultry industry The method used in this program helps to obtain a base population with poly-breed characteristics and form a new strain in the poultry industy.
